Stephen C. Brown
Chief Executive Officer
Stephen Brown is Chief Executive Officer for PreCare Inc. since May 2010. His successful strategies have resulted in exponentially growing revenues and significantly increasing shareholder value, which is the hallmark of his leadership. He has led organizations that have included such services as managed care, disability management, property and casualty insurance programs, call centers, medical publishing, software development, medical cost containment and risk management.
Brown served as Chief Executive Officer of the Reed Group, LTD in Westminster, Colorado before PreCare helping bring new products and services and helping the transition from founder lead to new management and ownership.
Prior to joining the Reed Group, LTD, Brown served as Chief Executive Officer of CompManagement, Inc. in Dublin, Ohio which Brown joined via the acquisition of Octagon Risk Services. He was responsible for all operations of this 26 state claims and managed care company.
While at Octagon Risk Services, Stephen served as President and then CEO after merging California based Applied Risk Management (ARM) and Professional Risk Management (PRM) in order to form Octagon Risk Services.
Prior to Octagon Risk Services, Brown held progressive responsibilities over 9 years at The St. Paul Companies of St. Paul, Minnesota. Brown received his degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.

Richard Lawrence
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Lawrence, FCCA, joined PreCare in 2006 after amassing more than 20 years of experience managing outsourced staffing services in the information technology, telecommunications and property service sectors. Richard, who was educated in the United Kingdom, is qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. His financial administration experience includes overseeing international operations for corporations in Europe and in the United States. His wide-ranging experience in finance and operations has given him a strong background in developing and growing businesses. He also has engineered numerous successful mergers and acquisitions within the business services sector. Before joining PreCare, he worked in San Francisco as CFO and COO of the U.S. subsidiary of a major U.K. staffing company. Richard’s roles as PreCare’s CFO encompass operations, information technology, human resources, legal services and commercial services.

Carrie Cianfichi
Director, Human Resources and Recruiting
Carrie Cianfichi joined PreCare in 2007 after five years in the executive recruiting field. Carrie has extensive experience recruiting for consumer packaged goods companies as well as professional service firms. Carrie previously worked for Fresno Community Health Systems in Fresno, Calif. She obtained a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resources and recruiting from Sonoma State University in 2003. In her spare time Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and playing soccer.

Elizabeth Songer
Director, Field Operations
Elizabeth Songer joined PreCare in 2001, shortly after its establishment, and has been contributing to its continued growth since then. She has coupled her extensive knowledge of the organizational structure of PreCare with a hardworking attitude and exceptional customer and therapist service skills. In addition to her global field operations responsibilities, Elizabeth currently directs PreCare’s field operations in the Northeast and in California. Elizabeth has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Humboldt State University.

Jerry Mullen
National Sales Director
Jerry began his successful Risk Management sales career more than 25 years ago with the Hartford Insurance Company. Upon graduation from Xavier University, Jerry started working in the industry as a Marketing Representative for Hartford where he spent 4 years in this role strengthening broker partner relationships for this prominent carrier. Jerry’s direct Property & Casualty sales efforts began at Wausau Insurance in the mid-80’s with a primary focus on mid-sized account new business development. Following Wausau, he spent his next 10 years selling global Property programs to Fortune 500 organizations at Allendale Insurance.
Jerry expanded his diverse industry skill sets with an additional 9 years as National Account Executive at Risk Sciences Group. At RSG, Jerry developed his strong background in Risk Management Information Systems and analytical reporting to assist Risk / Claim Management professionals reduce their cost of risk.
In his most recent position as Director – Sales at Gallagher Bassett, Jerry’s responsibilities for this Third Party Administrator industry leader included integrated Claim and Managed Care growth from both the private and public sector.
Jerry is an experienced Risk Management sales professional with proven results in building brand awareness, developing new opportunities and driving new revenue growth using a proven dynamic consultative sales approach.

Sherri Burrell
National Account Manager
Sherri Burrell, MS, ATC was the Director of Industrial Medicine for a Physical Therapy Company prior to joining PreCare in 2007. She has extensive training and experience in functional capacity evaluation, work hardening and conditioning, job analysis, and onsite injury prevention. Throughout her career, Sherri has developed, implemented, and grown Industrial Rehabilitation programs within major Regional Hospital Systems, in addition to private Physical Therapy Companies. Sherri was instrumental in expanding those programs from one central clinic locations, to multiple clinics as well as provision of services onsite in industry.
Sherri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, from Berry College, and a Master of Science degree in Sports Medicine, from Georgia State University. Her post graduate training and education has focused on the needs of the Industrial Athlete.

Carisa Harris
Director, Research & Development
Carisa Harris, PhD, PT, CIE, operated an ergonomic consulting company and taught at San Francisco State University before joining PreCare in 2005. Carisa completed a Ph.D. in environmental health sciences with a concentration in ergonomics at UC Berkeley and a double masters degree in Physical Therapy and Kinesiology from the University of California, San Francisco, and San Francisco State University. Additionally, Carisa is an Assistant Professor at Samuel Merritt University and is involved with a Collaborative Research project at UC Berkeley studying risk factors for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Carisa enjoys racing sailboats and leading a nonprofit organization that conducts sailing camps and educational classes for inner-city children and people with disabilities.
