PreCare Consulting Services includes a team of highly trained ergonomists who specialize in assessing complex problems and determining successful solutions.  Validated ergonomic risk assessment tools are utilized to evaluate the risk for musculoskeletal injuries and provide a quantitative comparison of proposed solutions.  The PreCare Consulting Team comprises individual Research & Development (R&D) Project Managers who specialize in a variety of industries.

Risk assessment is performed through job or individual task analyses and includes quantification of physical demands for the purpose of physical risk reduction, job descriptions, and/or comprehensive return to work programs.

PreCare determines comprehensive and effective solutions that are aimed at modifying employee’s behavior, addressing management controls, and/or improving the environment or tools used to perform a job.  Behavior modification is achieved by developing and implementing a comprehensive training program for employees and management that is repeated consistently throughout the year.
Training is based on participants understanding important concepts, experiencing the application of the concepts into practice, and then incorporating the concepts into various work related tasks.

Training forums vary based on the audience and industry and may include combinations of training DVD’s, training classes, train the trainer programs, and individual job coaching.  Additionally, our R&D Project Managers can assess, design, or modify tools or equipment to eliminate or reduce the physical risks associated with a particular task.

We also work with management to assess specific roles in the Injury Prevention Process and develop a specialized approach to maximize their effectiveness in reducing the frequency and severity of injuries.
