Prevention

Our early intervention model and other tools for prevention can reduce claims up to 80 percent!

Sprains and strains are the single largest injury type that U.S. workers sustain while on the job. American employers incur more than $75 billion in losses each year due to work-related sprain and strain injuries. These types of injuries typically occur over time and are not caused by a single incident making them more challenging to prevent. It is for these reasons that PreCare’s prevention services have been designed to dramatically reduce the frequency of these types of injuries for our clients.

PreventionPreCare effectively reduces injury potential through our regular onsite delivery model including early intervention screenings and education with employees who had been experiencing some discomfort or excessive fatigue. By evaluating individual work stations and job procedures at your facility, our highly trained clinicians can identify potentially hazardous conditions and recommend corrective steps. We also conduct onsite conditioning classes to help employees improve and maintain their physical fitness – especially helpful for America’s aging work force.

PreCare instructional training helps employees modify their motions and work habits to reduce exposure to strains, sprains and ultimately disabling injuries. We have determined that more than 80 percent of the early intervention screenings that PreCare performs resolve problems that could lead to injuries and claims in the future.
