For almost a decade, PreCare has utilized its onsite physical therapy model to deliver dramatic positive results for our patients and clients. In this model, the referring physician, therapist, patient and employer create a synergy to focus on one goal: quality care that results in a fast recovery from a musculoskeletal injury and ergonomic intervention to encourage safe work habits.
PreCare is located at more than 100 locations and serves more than 20,000 employees throughout the United States. The physician and/or employer can initiate a request for rehabilitation. Once authorized (usually within two days), the patient begins physical therapy treatment onsite at their workplace.
Currently, PreCare contracts with employers for treatment of their employees with work-related injuries. PreCare therapists provide injury prevention services to all employees that may include work-n- stretch programs, fitness and conditioning, and ergonomic interventions.
